When I research, I begin by searching Google. This gives me a ton of information, much of which is not useful to me. I have to wade through every website which mentions that word or phrase. I have a pretty good idea of what is a reliable website and what is not, but I fear when my students search, they do not know which are good websites. There is so much information on the internet, but finding exactly what I am looking for is sometimes difficult. Many times I have to change my search phrase to find exactly the topic I am looking for. I frequently can find the information on a well known website, which I trust its accuracy.
I rarely search in paper books anymore. The internet is so much more accessible and current.
