I was first introduced to this book by Sara Kajder last summer. I was taking her reading class, which she realized, as a technology teacher, was not very applicable to me. So she allowed me to do projects that would work for me. I not only participated in her blogging assignment and digital story, but created a podcast, aggregator and several technology assignments to use in my class.
I think these chapters are interesting in the uses for blogs in classrooms. The thought that there are so many uses and what is blogging and what is just posting. I have so many thoughts in my head for using blogs, but unfortunatly my school does not encourage using Blogger.com. We have a messageboard on our school website that I could use, but Blogger could let them use so many more tools.
I hope to eventually use Blogs as a way to discuss and share current events in technology. It is a great way to get them to read current events on the internet, comment, discuss and expand their knowledge.
